Simulation translates "customer behaviour" into "business impacts"
PA constructed a model that would allow Post Denmark to gauge predictability and assess its impacts on the business. This stochastic model simulates the combined effects of nine different customer behaviour factors that were identified as contributing to the lack of predictability. The simulator allows Post Denmark to simulate the main mail processing volume from posting to delivery for both ‘As-Is' and ‘To-Be' scenarios.
